SIMIN
AND
FARZAN
"Simin and Farzan" is a paper puppet show based on Alexander Pushkin’s “Ruslan & Lyudmila”, but here we tell this story in an Iranian context. Puppets and Scenery are inspired by Iranian illustrated lithographed books of the Qajar era (1789-1906). Two storyteller-puppeteers and two musicians who play Iranian traditional music perform the show.
