AND
DREAMS
"Faces and Dreams" is a paper theater project based on a text by Georges Neveux. The puppets in this show will be created from photographs of people and places around the performance venue. Some audiences may find familiar faces and places in the show and witness something like a collective dream. The show is scheduled to be completed and consulted by experts during the "La Nef" residency in August and September 2025 and, will premiere in September 2025 at The World Festival of Puppet Theatres (FMTM) in Charleville-Mezieres.
summary
"Michel" wanders the streets of a city. The faces he meets seem familiar, but he cannot recognize them. Michel is looking for a person. When he finds her, strangeness and familiarity, distance and closeness, oldness and youth, start to merge. What is he looking for in this city, where reality and imagination escape him?
